Africans United of New England was incorporated in 2016 in Maine as a 501-3c nonprofit dedicated to the mission of doing exactly what its name says: uniting African immigrants in all of the New England states so that they can share their experience and energy creating success for all of those Africans who are new here and for generations to come. America is a melting pot, but we do not want to lose the "flavor" of where we came from.  We want our children to remember the lands of their parents and grandparents at the same time that they become successful citizens of the United States. For the past twenty years, a wave of immigrants from all over the world have sought refuge here for many reasons, but we believe that all Africans share common bonds and similar problems.  If we unite, we can solve those problems with our expertise and our numbers. Stay tuned to hear more of our plan! Click here to meet our chairman!

We gathered together...

to ask the Lord's blessing on our endeavors in Dallas, Texas from December 30th to January 2nd, 2017.  Our time together as people from Western Bahr el Ghazal  was serious work,  but there was still plenty of time to catch up with old friends and make new ones. We elected a community chairman, Rabeh Dmibiti, to serve the community for the next four years. Then we worked on the WBeG USA by-laws which will make incorporation possible and allow us to apply for 501-3c status.  We plan on opening our office this year! And after we worked, we danced!
