Welcome to Project Bazia and Africans United of New England! We are two non-profits who work in tandem for the success of immigrant families from Africa and for African youth who are struggling to succeed economically and educationally on the African continent. Based in Portland, ME, we help the next generation in diaspora adapt to a new culture while maintaining the best values from their original homeland. We promote English as a second language for all Africans world-wide while we urge them to discover their unique purpose in this world and help them to fulfill it. We unite African youth across the globe through our philosophy and their education. When confronted with prejudice or inequality, we remember that before we are born, no one asks us what color we would like to be. We try to remember: We are all from Africa!
